Start question with WHY

One day a young hotel manager come to me and told me how stress he is to achieve his target in revenue also to manage his product and service to be able to compete in this fast and dynamic changes.
He asked me WHAT is the best strategy to win the competition and how to get more booking without reduce rate

Then I ask him one question, Have you even find out WHY all your plan doesnt work, WHY other people have better achievement then you?

If people start With question WHAT, means these people thought have done their maximum effort, once the result dont meet their expectation, these people will judge the external factor as the reason of fail.
